Santorini Nykteri Reserve 2016

Appellation: PDO Protected Designation of Origin Santorini
Type: Dry white wine
Grape Varieties: 75% Assyrtiko, 15% Athiri, 10% Aidani
Vinification: Fermented in oak barrels
Aging: 9 months in oak barrels, 3 months in bottle
Characteristics: Yellow-lemon color of medium+ intensity with golden hues. The nose is scented with vanilla and oaky aromas suggesting barrel treatment, followed by elegant notes of citrus and green fruits. Dry on the palate with lively acidity and complex oaky flavors paired with the fruity character. The aftertaste is long and intense.
Food and wine: A great pairing for fish and white meat, either grilled or cooked with creamy sauces.
