Santorini Tomato becomes a Protected Designation of Origin Santorini (PDO) product !

Santorini Tomato has gained the PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) certification according to Regulation (EU) arith.1400/2013 , published on 18/12/201 in the Official Journal of the European Union.

The long effort of the Union of Santorini Cooperatives in collaboration with the Laboratory of General Chemistry of the Agricultural University of Athens , under the scientific supervision of Professor Serko Haroutounian is crowned with success! We are very proud that such a special product achieves its own distinct position in the international market.

Santorini Tomato has completed the Santorini PDO products Trilogy along with Santorini Assyrtiko and Santorini Fava.
