On the 29th of November 2010, a Wine Tasting event for wines from indigenous Greek varieties, took place in Paris. It was organized by the Greek Embassy and O.I.V. (International Organisation of Vine and Wine).

SantoWines presented the “Protected Designation of Origin” Santorini wines Assyrtiko, Nykteri and Vinsanto to prominent French sommeliers and journalists such as Olivier Poussier and Michel Bettane who attended the event.

Once again, wine experts appreciated the value of the Greek varieties and especially the unique characteristics and the high quality of Assyrtiko which gives its best performance in Santorini volcanic terroir.
