A unique food event for everyone at SantoWines winery: Aegean mamas know best !

It was a great pleasure and honor to host on April 18 at our winery, the "Aegean mamas know best" & "Aegean Gardeners" event, in the framework of the promotional campaign  "Gastronomic Region of Europe, South Aegean 2019.

The action "Aegean Mamas Know Best" and "Aegean Gardeners - Aegean Gardeners" traveled to Santorini, in collaboration with the Cyclades and Dodecanese Club of Chefs and the ambassador Chef Mrs. Argiro Barbarigou, promoting "Gastronomic Region of Europe, South Aegean 2019" campaign.

The message of the action is: "island cuisine in an island household" using local products.

Moms, grandmothers and children, met chef Argiro Barbarigou, members of the Chef Club and local chefs, cooked and discussed all that "Aegean moms know best".

Local products, traditional cuisine and its contemporary approach at home, children's involvement in preparing meals with all family members, healthy eating and the use of herbs were the topics that were discussed.

The children during their own workshop made traditional cookies, the housewives prepared traditional recipes that were enjoyed by all visitors paired with the unique in the world wines from Santorini.
